Our company is currently enjoying its 31st year in the high-end sound, audio-visual and specialty lighting business. We provide custom engineering, design and installation for both commercial and residential systems. Our commitment to quality is uncompromising and over 31 years we have acquired a tremendous base of experience and knowledge from working with so many different types of people, their homes and their businesses. From day one our commitment was to absolute sonic purity and we have brought our clients with us every step of the way. There is no typical Sound Performance system. Every one is different, designed not only to the client and architectÂ’s precise requirements, but also to the acoustic demands of any given space. And where there are acoustic difficulties we correct them. All our systems, whether stereo, surround-sound or multi-source - multi-zone, are customized to achieve extraordinary results.

Sound Performance works closely with its clients, their architects and designers in designing, engineering and installing custom sound, audio-visual and specialty lighting. Our company also works closely with leading manufacturers in America and around the world frequently suggesting new products and often designing them. Almost from day one our president, Stan Beran, was on first name terms with many legendary names in the industry; men like Saul Marantz, Paul Klipsch and Etsuro "The Dragon" Nakamichi and his sons. On the music side the late, legendary Tom Dowd, Atlantic Records genius engineer & producer was a true friend and major influence when it came to creating perfection in sound. Whereas it was Dowd's ceaseless search for sonic perfection in recording music, it has been Sound Performance's commitment to excellence in designing systems that would perfectly reproduce recorded work that has kept it at the forefront of the business for more than three decades.

Once we have defined your precise requirements we will work closely with your architect or interior -designer, and from blueprints or AutoCAD, seamless integrate your new audio-video system to its surroundings, tailoring it with precision to the aesthetics of your home. The task of creating Mayfair and taking it from the drawing board to reality was a major endeavor that took more than ten years. Some of the worlds finest craftsmen were involved in its creation. Stan Berans creative energy and natural instinct for integrating acoustic excellence with the prerequisites of Mayfairs architecture fulfilled my highest expectations. My special thanks to Sound Performance. Equally, the Holocaust Memorial on Miami Beach required something very different in the way of sound. I would never have considered using anybody but Stan Beran and his team for that endeavor.
